Butting in

I'm sure those Spruce City boys didn't realise that they'd have to go through a bizarre initiation ceremony to get into the local softball team.

Although they do say, if you want to succeed at sport, you should start at the bottom.

A different angle

Angie J sees this van regularly on her travels in Mid Wales.

Well that angle is certainly different.

Then again, if it's really supposed to be Angel, I wonder who it means?

It's certainly not the van driver.

He's well known to Angie and, according to her, well, he's far from being one.

Undercover tarantula

Do you think anyone will notice?

Pubic house

In the UK we have many unusual pub names which refer to a local historical incident.

The Cow And Snuffers in Cardiff.

The Vat And Fiddle in Nottingham.

The Clog And Billycock in Blackburn.

And this one in Truro which Deb B sent me.

What went on in the courtroom on that particular occasion is anyone's guess.

Co-op discount

Don't get too excited. It's not discounting any of its prices.

No, last week the Co-op offered a 16.67% reduction to your Bank Holiday weekend.

One day added to two, Co-op, makes the weekend a half longer. Not a third.

You may be good with food. But you're rubbish with Maths.

Probably a good thing you're not running a bank.

Oh, wait.
