Crash and burn

I run several websites which help bring business to my printing machines.

Though I say it myself, I'm reasonably good at giving them suitable names which reflect the types of service they offer while also sounding attractive to potential customers.

If I ran a driving school, I don't think I would make this mistake.

According to Dennis A, among the courses they offer are...

a £280 12-hour mini crash course especially for, presumably, young Estate Agents,

a £485 23-hour intermediate crash course for those drivers who are one hour short of a day,

and a £610 30-hour novice crash course for those who feel they need more time as they haven't yet quite crashed enough.

Gorgeous exposed brick

Graphic image warning. The faint of heart may prefer to turn away now.

The Estate Agent's description of this Upper West Side apartment suggests that its walls feature gorgeous exposed brick.

Unfortunately, one of the Agent's own photos of another gorgeous exposed, er, well, definitely not brick, was somehow included with the apartment photos and it became clear that brick was not such an accurate spelling after all.

Apparently the Agent is denying that the photo is a selfy.

But that just makes me worry more for his friends.

Did he surreptitiously creep up behind one of them and capture the moment?

Perhaps the camera was set to Auto Flash.

Negotiating spelling

Dennis A sent me this which was posted on the Gipton & Harehills Neighbourhood Policing Team's Facebook Page the other day.

The situation ended well and, luckily, there were no injuries.

Apart from the pride of the NPT.

Thou shalt not spell

Here's an interesting take on the Ten Commandments.

So who, you may ask, is the book's author, E W Jackson Sr?

None other than Virginia's Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor.

Let's hope his comand of state law is better than his comand of English.
