Pubic apology

If you could name just one ubiquitous typo, this would be it. There are so many references to its occurrence yet it raises a titter every time you see it.

The first example I came across was in the film A Home Of Your Own which I do believe I saw at the pictures on the occasion of Roger Groocock's 10th birthday party.

A young Bernard Cribbins plays a stonemason whose efforts...well, you can see more at the end of this post.

Meanwhile, back to the point.

Unfortunately, the School tweeted an apology.

Complete with another spelling error.

The more I researched the original error, the more apt it became because, apparently, LBJ enjoyed...well, er...certain pubic affairs of his own.

Finally, here's a clip from that film.
